@Rich Bowen: Rich, good meeting you at Apachecon!

@Karl Fogel: Very much enjoyed you talk at Apachecon -- thanks!

@Brian Fitzpatrick: Good meeting you at Apachecon and thanks for sponsoring/hosting the lightning talks (fun and entertaining!) -- looking forward to more good things from Google.

@Robert Burrell Donkin: Hey! Just a reminder to get that documentation community thing going for next ApacheCon (or anytime)!

@Scott Lamons: Great to meet you; ping me if you need pointers. Promise I'll at least look at fossology later. 8-)

@Bruce Snyder: Glad we finally got to meet (at least that I remember). Hope it was a good trip home.

@Carsten Ziegeler: your picture is blurry...

@Filip Hanik: Go to sleep already! Turn all the lights out, lie down, and close your eyes. Sleep will come... eventually. 8-)

Hi Danese, see you soon and look me up when you're in NC. - Dave

ApacheCon US CFP is extended! Thanks to the 50 or so of you who waited until the very last second yesterday, but we sill have 4 more days to accept proposals. Get your ideas in at us.apachecon.com!

@Greg Stein: We need to get them to add a new +category for profiles: "Want to drink with".

@Nick Burch: It does appear that I do...

Anyone know how to fix it?

@Nick Burch: Hey Nick, looks like you have two profiles???

@Bruce Snyder: Hi Bruce.

I want learn more from and am from Ghana want to be part of this programme.

Last call, folks! We're pulling together the group for the foodie dinner and need to confirm headcount so we can decide on day/location, etc. Check it out at http://apacheconeu2008.crowdvine.com/...

@Cliff Schmidt: Looking forward to your keynote!

@Shane Curcuru: Shane,

In the City we can get Seltzer Sisters

http://www.seltzersisters.com/

Which means you get seltzer bottles delivered to your door every week...just like the Marx Brothers :-).

@Wendy Smoak: Hi Wendy,

hope to see you on the ApacheCON this year :-)

@Mylène Reiners: Mylène, I look forward to having you at my Media Training sessions! Feel free to drop me a note if you need anything before Amsterdam. Cheers!

@Scott Lamons: Ah, thanks Scott :) Looking forward to meeting you f-2-f in Amsterdam and seeing you in action on the Business Panel.

@Delia Frees: Delia, you have been fantastic to work with in helping HP plan a great Apachecon. -Scott

@Ivan Ristic: Hi Ivan
I'm really looking forward to your session.

@Danese Cooper: Danese, thanks for the sentiment. I'm keen to come to New Orleans. Will probably have spun out more open source code by then also.

@Shane Curcuru: Important answers:

1. No, we're not sending anyone to ApacheCon EU but I'd love to find a way to US one.

2. We just bought a Soda Club brand seltzer maker. Our friends swear by it and so far we're pretty happy with the seltzer. It also comes with soda syrups. I've tried the Root Beer which was only so-so.

@Tony Stubblebine: Two chillingly important questions:
- Will you or someone on the geek side of CrowdVine be coming to ApacheCon Europe?

- How does the soda machine work? Is that a fresh seltzer bottle (which I've always wanted) or just a cafeteria soda fountain?

8-)

@Charel Morris: Hey Charel...is Tony Stubbledine coming to ApacheCon EU? It would be good to try to get him (maybe for New Orleans) to talk about Crowdvine.

@Bertrand Delacretaz: Hello,

Drop by the registration table - where I usually hang out. See you in Amsterdam.

Charel

@Charel Morris: Charel, thanks for the comment. Likewise looking forward to (finally) meeting you!

@Danese Cooper: Danese -- hey, thanks for the comment! How are you doing?

NYC has been brutal :-). I just finished a long slog of an apartment hunt, but I won't be moved in before ApacheCon; sort of living a techno-transient life right now. It'll be really good to see you.

@Stefano Mazzocchi: Hi Stefano

Best Wishes on your wedding and know that we will all miss you!

So please plan on coming to ApacheCon US 2008 in New Orleans!

@Sander Temme: Go. Wonder Cat, go! Perk those ears up a little...

@Torsten Curdt: Hello Torsten,

Are you coming in for Monday? And are you going to join us for the BarCode on Monday evening?

See you soon!

@Martijn Dashorst: Hi Martijn,

Welcome to ApacheCon! BTW did you get my note about Wickets and the Monday evening BarCode gathering?

@Karl Fogel: HI Karl Welcome to ApacheCon -- I am looking forward to meeting you and hearing your talk.

@Daan Verbaarschott: Welcome back to ApacheCon -- Glad you are joining us again this year!

@Mylène Reiners: Oh so good to see. Another actual woman!!

@Charel Morris: Yes, I plan on being at BarCode. I just hope I still have a voice after an all day training!

I'm holding Media/Analyst Training on Monday, 7 April ... Beginner session starts at 9.30AM; Intermediate starts at 2.00PM. If you're a PMC, PRC, or Board member and would like to attend, please contact me directly. See you soon!

@Grant Ingersoll: hey Grant - you are going to be busy at the BarCode on Monday night. Talking about Lucene, Mahout and Solr codes while checking out the Hadoop table.
But I know you will be up to it!

Yes - go submit your CFP for ApacheCon US now!

@Karl Fogel: How's NYC treating you? We miss you in SF.

@Erik Hatcher: I'm such a fan...

@David Johnson: Hey, I'm coming to NC in late June. Looks like I'll see you in Amsterdam sooner, however. Will be nice to see you.

@Cliff Schmidt: Cliffy! I'm so glad you're giving a keynote.

@Grant Ingersoll: Hi Grant! Did you know there's going to be a Hadoop table at the BarCode on Monday night? There's also a Hadoop BOF on Thursday, and of course the 3 sessions on Friday at 9:00, 10:00 and 14:00 -- non of which conflict with your session on Lucene at 11:30 :)

@Sander Temme: Do you *really* live in San Francisco? How come we never hang out?

@Tony Stubblebine: Nice to see Crowdvine at ApacheCon. Thanks.

@Lars Eilebrecht: Hey Lars! Very dramatic photo. Looking forward to ApacheCon EU this year.

@Charel Morris: She is doing a great job organizing ApacheCon , thank you very much for all those.
